I will be taking part in an expedition to Poland to participate in a military march in memory of the 50 British and Allied Airmen that paid the ultimate sacrifice attempting to escape from Stalag III, a German POW camp.

The march will be conducted over a four day period and will cover 100 miles starting at Zagan and finishing in Poznan . I will be part of a group of 50 serving airmen/women. Each will be representing one of the fallen men. To make things harder I have sourced a set of RAF WW2 battle dress which I plan on wearing for one of the legs of the march.

I thought this would be a good opportunity to raise awareness and raise money for RAFA. An Air Force expedition in memorial linking to an Air Force charity, that helps serving and RAF veterans and their families At times of hardship.
