I am currently taking part in a greulling 6 week  fitness challenge in aid of Cancer Focus NI and I was hoping your company could sponsor me.  

“This challenge has been running for 3 years now and with the help of Noel Tierney from Fit 2 Function, it has raised over £111,000 for local cancer charity Cancer Focus NI.  All money raised through this is used to supply cancer services to patients and their families in this area.

Cancer Focus works through all of Northern Ireland, they supply services in the form of counselling and family support service as well as the Keeping Well Van, which is a mobile health screening vehicle.

Every year, Cancer Focus supports more than 3,000 people living with cancer, funds major research, reaches nearly 30,000 children with its schools health education program and invested more than £3.5m annually.

 Moving forward, they plan to extend their services and bring them to more venues across Northern Ireland.  With endeavors like Focus Fit and people like Rachel who take part raising funds, this support will help them to ensure they meet the ever increasing demand for what they offer.”.

To be honest this challenge is absolutely mental and I have been walking around like the Tin Man for the past two weeks because I am that sore after the training sessions.  In addition to the exercise, I MUST abstain from alcohol and caffeine, as well as following  a strict natural, clean eating plan – this is actually the hardest part!!
