Many thanks for sponsoring me to run the London Marathon in April.  I’m running for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Charity.

The Charity provides vital extra equipment that is not available through the NHS and gives grants for research.  In my own practice, the Charity contributed to the cost of equipment that has allowed us to examine vocal cords much more closely and hence provide innovative treatments that have been in the press in recent months.

In addition, the Charity supports the Royal Centre for Defence Medicine, which is where all of the UK’s injured military patients are treated.
