Well, we did it - it was a long hard slog on one of the hottest days of the year. Lots of water, lots of sunscreen and not too many blisters later, we crossed the finish line after six and a half hours.

Yes it's that time of year again!!

I know we said never again but we are back preparing for another 20 mile walk with less than a week to go.

Those of you who know me will understand why raising money for Cancer Research is so important to me. I know times are harder this year but even a little can help.

This will be the 6th year my friend Sandra and I have been walking together, and along with various friends and family, we calculate we have raised nearly £30,000. Certainly worth all the pain and blisters!!
