Story
Anyone who knows me or my family, certainly know Tony.
Tony was born with Down syndrome.
Tony relies on routine and any changes can really throw him . During Covid, all of Tony's centres closed, he didn't understand why he couldn't go out every day and had to stay in and wear a mask when outside. It was extremely hard for us as a family as we couldn't explain to him the reasons why.
Caroline from Arts for All stayed in touch the whole time and as soon as she could she opened the doors to Tony and others who use the facility. She goes above and beyond and in her words 'she is the lucky one' being able to do what she does.
Please go to their website and see the great things they do www.artsforall.co.uk
Arts For All is, and has been for 20 years, solely funded by the hard work of the CEO. They need to raise at least £100,000 each year and this is a lot for one person. Next year is their 21st Anniversary and they are looking to do some really exciting things , but this all costs extra money.
As a family, we will be doing various events to raise money for Arts for All, but I just want to setup this page, in the hope that it reaches people, who it wouldn't normally.
If you can donate any amount big or small, We would be so grateful.
Thank you so much
