Many of you know why I am doing this run, but for those who don't here goes.........

My brother and I were very fortunate to have the most amazing parents in the world and then in 2009 we lost Dad to a very aggressive brain tumour, then in November 2010 Mum also passed away from a brain tumour.  The most heartbreaking thing is that Brain Tumour research gets a miniscule amount of money from the government so little is known about treatling these tumours effectively, let alone cure this awful disease!!!!

Andrea's Gift has just managed to help fund the new brain tumour lab at St James' Hospital in Leeds and needs this good work continuing!!!!!!
