Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I'm doing this because I want  to raise some funds and awareness about VAST and the Voluntary Sector in Stoke on Trent – for all the fabulous work that it does.

With the current lock down many fundraising events and the income generation that keeps charities afloat has suddenly come to a crashing halt ! 

VAST does excellent work at the Dudson Centre in Hanley where lots of local charities are based, but also across the City of Stoke on Trent and at a similar site in Stafford too. VAST has been in existence 100 years this year – It was set up in 1920, after WW1, at a time when families were thrown into total crisis after the tragedy of war. This current crisis we face today through COVID-19 outbreak has hit everyone so hard, and the charities themselves are also feeling the impact too, as demand for their services rises each week to deliver food parcels, keep people connected, give good advice, support and care for the vulnerable and isolated.

VAST supports our local charities in many ways – check out the VAST website for more information about the various projects and services they deliver and how they help volunteers and organisations www.vast.org.uk

Charities no matter how big or small they are, are the life
blood of our communities, they are often quietly working behind the scenes plugging the gaps that stops lives falling apart. VAST is also a charity and it’s role is to help in any way it can to keep the sector alive and kicking.  

Why faces?

I’m drawing lots of different faces because each one of us
is different, yet at times like this that we all need people and miss people
the most.

How to take part in my challenge with me :

You can make a donation, no matter how small yet if you would like to own one of these little artworks, please make a donation of £10 (or more if you are feeling super generous) and I will send it out to you in the post after I finish the drawing part of my challenge on 16^th May.

More faces will appear each day as I do more drawings ... so if you’re feeling generous you may like to donate more than once 😁👍 I wonder how many I will create?

1. To support me and VAST you can make a donation OF ANY AMOUNT ... no matter how small and it will be very much appreciated. If you would like an artwork please donate ** £10 ** or over.

2. You can choose the face you would like by simply looking at my  Just Giving page GALLERY. 

3. Check that it’s not been SOLD already - look at donation comments to see if anyone else has already chosen that number. I will also update the caption in the JUST GIVING GALLERY image ASAP 

4. Make your donation (of £10  or more please) here on my  JustGiving Donation page and in your comment clearly say which image you want to be delivered. ( don’t put your address in the comment - it’s public - you need to email me your address.

5. Deliveries will start after 16th May 2020.
