Story
Hi!!
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am taking part in the Glasgow Big Fun Run on 24th July. I am hoping to raise some money for MS Society Scotland through this run.
Multiple Sclerosis is a condition of the central nervous system. It is the most common, potentially disabling neurological condition affecting young adults
My mum suffers from MS, so I have seen first hand how it can affect the lives of those who have the condition and also the lives of those around them.
The MS Society Scotland is Scotlands largest voluntary organisation dedicated to supporting everyone whose life has been affected by the condition. The rely entirely on voluntary contributions.
Any donation, big or small, is greatly appreciated!!
All donations are spent in Scotland, here is some examples of what donations could pay for:
£10 - would provide vital information leaflets about MS
£15 - would pay for an hour of MS research time
£20 - would help fund the cost of someone receiving 24-hour nursing care at the MS Society Scotland respite care centre.
