In Memory Of Deborah Youngs

It brings me to great sadness to be writing this..
My mum, Deborah Youngs (formally Sturman), sadly lost her battle with ovarian cancer at 8:50 last Thursday evening. It was a long, testing and gruesome fight that she took on, when many would’ve halted at the first hurdle. We managed to keep her with us for three extra years to make memories that we will cherish in our hearts forever. Without her braveness to fight on - my daughter, Alba, wouldn’t of been able to have the time that she had with her Nanny - for that, amongst many things, I will always be proud of my Mum for. Right until the very end she was fighting.
She was a proud, courageous, funny, no nonsense, beautiful and kind woman that will forever live on in memory for many people. There isn’t a bad thing that anyone could say about her - I don’t think she had a single bad bone in her body! Anyone that met her would take an instant liking to her.
I know there will be many people that would love to pay their respects to her. So her funeral will be held on Monday the 21st of Feb: a private cremation will be held, followed by a service held at Fakenham Parish Church at 2pm where everyone is invited to give her a good send off. Following on from this, everyone is Invited for drinks and nibbles that will be held at The Prince Of Wales Stand at Fakenham Racecourse.
We please ask everyone not to bring flowers, we instead ask for a donation going to our chosen the Target Ovarian Cancer charity. There will be collection pots at Fakenham church, but donations can be made through a just giving page that has been set up.
Charities pay a small fee for our service. Learn more about fees
