Story
During the Christmas break, Libby was taken to hospital with back pain, we believed she’d fallen out of bed. Following a number of tests, Libby was diagnosed on the 2nd January 2019 with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. Libby’s older sister Pippa (10) and her twin brother Tom (6) have been amazingly strong, supportive and caring. They’ve spent a large portion of this year seeing their sister go through gruelling treatment, much of it spent apart with the family being separated due to hospital stays. Libby’s treatment is expected to last for two and a half years, it’s a long journey but one where we’re supported by an amazing hospital and ward. Pippa and Tom now want to support Libby by raising money for Ward 84 who are doing such an amazing job in caring for her. Pippa will be running 2.5k in the Junior Run and Tom will be running 1.5k in the Mini Race along with his Dad
