Strictly Oxford yesterday.Such a great experience for everyone involved.Lovely new friends. Until yesterday I don't remember ever being scared of forgetting steps or going wrong but then I hadn't met Gabriel.I was very happy to get Gabriel Gospodin as my dance partner, he has the highest standards, I got that straight away.As Barry Grinham would say he does not take prisoners- so I wasn't worried about the judges or the audiences, just one of his LOOKS.Gabriel-How did you notice my tinsy mistake when you were looking up? Do your feet have eyes? Who needs a judge when Gabriel is on stage?
Anyhow we got 3 sets of 10,10,10, and a 10,9,9, and he was happy, and my properly critical family were thrilled.Great relief.Lost a stone.Thank you to Clint who put me in for it and now a massive thank you to you who donated by sponsoring me and to those lovely souls who voted and cheered me on last night, you are SO GENEROUS X
Thankyou to all The Step by Step teachers you were all so generous and so talented and Andrzej Mialkowski is to be congratulated for putting it all together AGAIN.Andrzej has raised zillions of money for charity. So much work- and you are always cheerful and ON IT.Great people. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXThank you hugely, Deb x
Vale House is an exemplary hospice for sufferers of dementia.I know it is loved by the people who work there and by locals who are proud of what it does.It obviously needs more money to keep going.
