Story

The Margaret Kerr Unit is a palliative care unit at the Borders Hospital in Scotland, where our family spent two heart-wrenching weeks with Mum, our beautiful Francesca, in December 2019.

We simply couldn't have done it without the staff and the facilities that became our home. This marathon idea came about from a promise I made to Mum to give back and fundraise to a service that was so critical for us at that time.

We can't thank the Margaret Kerr unit enough and I know Mum would tell me I'm crazy doing this but she'd be delighted with whatever we can all raise in her memory.

Thank you for helping me get through the 42 very long kilometres and for contributing to an essential service for those in need of palliative care and their families.
