Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I love a challenge and this is one I have wanted to do for a while. Raids are official multi day challenges and the Raid Dolomites is the most difficult of them all. We will be cycling an average of just over 80 miles  (131 km to be exact) and just under 2,400m climbing a day, through the beautiful scenery of the Dolomites. I have persuaded 5 other cyclists from my club to do it too. Not long now and feeling very apprehensive.

About the charity

The Fine & Country Foundation has been created to help combat one of the largest social issues in the UK – homelessness. Last year, the Government estimated around 2,414 people sleep on the street on any one night across England, a rise of 36% over three years. Often the reasons for homelessness are misunderstood, with many blaming the individuals for poor life decisions and carelessness. The reality is: people become homeless for a whole range of complex and overlapping reasons that cannot be avoided, such as family breakdowns, mental or physical health problems or debts. Solving homelessness does not only involve putting a roof over people’s heads, it is also trying to tackle the root of the problem and asking the question: why did they became homeless in the first place? The Fine & Country Foundation is dedicated to bringing together all Fine & Country agents in over 300 locations worldwide to raise awareness of the causes of homelessness whilst supporting homeless charities.
