We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am doing the 30 mile Isle of White challenge to raise much needed money to find a cure for this dreadful disease.

I have first hand experience of exactly what this cruel condition does to the person and their family.  To watch your much loved relative deteriorate before your eyes is heartbreaking.

My mum has lived with alzeihmers for 12 years.  She has gone from a wonderful loving mum to a person who can no longer walk, talk,  do anything for herself or recognise any of her family.

Every £25 you raise could pay for someone with dementia and their partner or other carer to go to a session at one of our Dementia Cafés will feel supported of others living with dementia and gain knowledge that can help them cope better in their daily life.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
