Nottingham Hospitals Charity supports patients and staff across Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham City Hospital, Nottingham Children's Hospital and Ropewalk House.Nottingham Hospitals treat over 10,000 patients each year and each donation helps them continue their care.

The Stroke service is comprised of the TIA Clinic, Hyper-acute stroke unit, acute stroke wards C4 and C4 and stroke rehabilitation at Daybrook Ward at the City Hospital. We provide excellent care to patients in Nottingham and surrounding areas to optimise outcome following a TIA or Stroke. Our service continues to develop and  by 2024 we will offer mechanical thrombectomy 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We are involved to research to facilitate the use of the best evidence based care.

The Advanced Clinical Practitioner Team was formed in January 2021 and as the lead for the team, I hope to raise the profile of stroke champion our service.
