Dementia Matters in Powys (DMiP) is an independent charity, supporting those living with dementia, their families and carers.  When CV-19 prevented the Meeting Centre doors being opened DMiP immediately set about offering support in alternative ways, the first in the country to offer Virtual Meeting Centres and Virtual Carer's Support Groups.  DMiP are funded by the National Lottery to facilitate the Meeting Centres, while the National Lottery are incredibly supportive of the new services this isn't what they funded DMiP for; DMiP also benefit from many local fundraising efforts in the community, these can't happen this year, so, while in lockdown, I'm planning for my husband to take the shears to my hair when this campaign reaches £500 - can you help?
