Story
Mark was moved to the Sue Ryder Hospice in Nettlebed a few hours before he died. The staff there were fantastic. All I wanted to do was give Mark a hug. They made that possible. It sounds like something so small, but it means the world to me that I could hold Mark in my arms to say goodbye.
They continued to support me after Mark's death by providing bereavement counselling. They also initiated the links to the genetics hospital in Oxford to help us look out for our daughter Chloe.
I cannot begin to express how grateful I am for their support. I am utterly amazed that such a beautiful building and such caring staff are available for free for people who need it. They can only continue to do this with your support. x
