Story

On the evening of March 25th friends, staff and volunteers of Citizens Advice Gateshead will be living one of our core values by blazing the trail - they will literally be *walking over hot coals* to raise money for our Dig Deep 2020 fundraising campaign. In 2019 a team of 'firewalkers' helped us to raise valuable funds towards our last Dig Deep to help us to provide specialist social welfare advice, information and support for patients of cancer and their families. With your help we were able to raise a total of over £20,000 which made a huge difference, increasing our capacity to really help families in a meaningful way, to help them improve their lives and be more able to deal with the touch challenges they were facing. In 2020 we are aiming to raise £50,000, and the Gateshead Firewalk event is our first fundraising event of the campaign. We'd love you to get behind our firewalkers by sponsoring them for a small amount - every pound counts towards our total.
