My dad was diagnosed with leukaemia and told he had 12wks to live, he took research drugs as he felt he had nothing to loose and those drugs extended his life by 18months and we were able to spend lots of quality time together as a family.  I am ever thankful to the Blood Cancer UK charity that dedicates its time and energy into research to help save or extend lives. Those 18months we had were the most special and I want to give back to the charity that enabled us to have that with our Dad, he has been gone now for 6yrs and we still miss him dearly xxxx
