Jamie and his squad are completing a sponsored swim to raise funds for the Leeds Children’s Hospital Hydrotherapy Pool. The pool has recently been refurbished but needs some multisensory equipment so the children receiving treatment have an engaging and effective session.The swim will consist of 36 miles (the distance from the Hydro to the Hospital) or 57600 meters, we will aim to put together eight teams swimming in a relay format. The target for each team will be to swim 7200 metres in two hours, depending on the size of each team this will be swum as either 50’s or 100’s.
