Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Friday 27th November 2015 (cancelled 29th October due to low lying clouds!) I will be putting aside my nerves again and attempting to voluntarily jump out of a plane*. I am doing this to help raise awareness and, with your support, funds for early-onset Alzheimers/dementia care, a cause close to my heart.
Alzheimer’s is not just a disease of old age. Many people with early onset are in their 40s and 50s such was the case with my mum. They have familiies, careers or are even caregivers themselves when Alzheimer’s strikes.
Whilst there is no current cure for Alzheimers, there is care. I am raising money to support the Alzheimer's Society, who help to keep people with dementia connected to their lives and the people who matter most.
So if you would like to help give me a virtual ‘shove’ out the plane by sponsoring me it would be very much appreciated! No amount too small or indeed too BIG!
