Currently almost half a million Palestinians are living in refugee camps, with 80% dependent on aid. Both Palestine and Lebanon’s rates of maternal and child mortality is very high, and MAP provide the only home visiting midwifery service in the Lebanon camps - helping thousands of women and children. Palestinians also regularly witness violence and death and many end needing psychological help for trauma. Ambulances and medics are regularly attacked and much of the live saving help people need is denied or delayed due to them not being able to get a visa to leave Palestine. Every single donation directly helps people living in Palestine and Lebanon access health care and receive the supplies and medical care they desperately need as the humanitarian crisis continues. 

I will be spending the month of August walking 100 miles (maybe more if I make it!) to raise money for Medical Aid for Palestinians. I will update my progress throughout the month, and no matter how big or small your donation, I and Medical Aid for Palestinians appreciate it greatly. ❤️
