BRAVE cancer sufferer Debbie Kimber today told how the disease may rob her of her life – but not her wedding day.
Thanks to her doting family and friends, and the generous local community, the 42-year-old’s dreams are set to come true.
The mum-of-two got engaged to her fiance Steve Cuthbert in June and the pair were happily planning their perfect day for late next year.
But their plans fell to pieces when Deborah started suffering from chronic stomach and back pains and was sent by her doctor for further tests.
After a CT scan, the nurse was diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer, which had already spread to her lymph nodes and liver.
Despite her shock, Debbie was determined to walk down the aisle and tie the knot with the man she loves.
The couple brought the wedding forward, then family, friends and people they’ve never met clubbed together to pay for it in just two days.
