Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In 2010, our youngest son Alex was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. At the time of diagnosis, he was critically ill and within hours he was in a coma. We didn't think he would make it through the night. Alex's strength surprised and amazed us all, including the Doctors that were caring for him.

Since then, he has gone through a long and challenging treatment plan, with numerous complications, but he has done it all with a smile and with courage. He is in an inspiration to all those that meet him.

He has now completed his 3.5 years of chemotherapy and we are holding a fundraising event to raise money for Children with Cancer UK. They are a charity that plough millions of pounds in to researching all the many different types of childhood cancers, and it will be thanks to some of this research, that Alex is still with us now.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

If you are able to make a donation to this charity, you will be helping them continue their important work, and making a difference to millions of children in this country.

Thank you x
