As most of you know, my twin sister, Nic, had twins in April 2005 - Jack & Isobel decided it was time to make an appearance at 27 weeks, weighing in at just over a pound and a half each!

Five years on, Jack & Isobel continue to thrive but not all families of the 1 in 9 babies that are born premature or sick are quite so lucky.

Bliss is a fantastic charity which is dedicated to improving both the survival and long-term quality of life for premature and sick babies. As well as funding research & education programmes to understand the causes of prematurity and improve the care available to all babies, it runs valuable Family Support programmes to help parents through  what can be a very difficult and confusing time.
