I’m raising money for Home- Start Kernow  after being inspired by 11-year-old Max Woosey, who is camping in a tent in his garden for a whole year!

I’ll be joining ‘Max’s Big Camp Out on Saturday 27th March to raise some funds for  Home-Start Kernow  who deliver peer support to families of young children throughout Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. 

Families   in Cornwall have had a difficult time during the pandemic as because we rely here on tourism there have been many job losses, increases in child poverty and struggles with mental health issues for parents and children.

Some areas in Cornwall are in the most deprived areas of the UK and so there are many families who need our support and our brilliant volunteers who offer one to one  peer support can make a real difference.
