Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Hi my name is Debbie and I am raising money for Bipolar U.K.
Bipolar U.K. has always been there for me and my family
and it is a charity close to my heart. They supported and informed me and my family through my Bipolar journey from the age of 25 years old to the present.
In 2007 whilst pregnant I attended Bipolar U.K. Women’s Group at ‘The West Yorkshire Playhouse’ Leeds, weekly.
I was supported and given firsthand experience of pregnancy, motherhood and Bipolar by these inspirational women.
Bipolar U.K. informed me of medication and pregnancy and e-comm peer support put me in touch with other parents.
It was here I first heard about Perinatal Specialists whom
I gained medication advice and support.
All these jigsaw pieces were a lifesaver for us and I will be
Forever grateful. My daughter is the best thing that ever happened to me and I was able to navigate my pregnancy
Successfully which was a blessing.
Luckily I had a happy pregnancy and birth with no sign of Post Partum Illness.
Being pregnant is naturally anxiety provoking time for any
Mum to be but with Bipolar U.K. I did not feel alone.
This is why I am fundraising for Bipolar U.K.
With your donations.
£10 helps someone get peer support.
£50 helps someone get peer support via call back or email.
£500 helps 820 people find information via the website.
£1,000 helps 13 people get peer support on Zoom.
£5,000 helps 560 people use all the services for a month
To keep well.
