Story
Last year I went to cheer on all the London Marathon Runners and was so excited for each and every runner on their journey. Having visualised myself in the race from last year, I said to myself that next year I’m going be in this race..
I did it. I got my Marathon place and I am overflowing with happiness.
I have been honoured to have the opportunity to run the London Marathon and would like to take this opportunity to raise money for the Young Harrow Foundation who create opportunities for young people.
I was not able to run for several years due to health issues and started running again in 2019 and there is no stopping me!! Running allows me to feel free and enthusiastic about life. Belonging to Black Girls Do Run UK has given me a real appreciation of a running family.
I have to thank my running Coach Oliver and Jen for helping me with my marathon training. I managed to clock up a lot of mileage and proud to say I ran my longest run 22 miles. I am creating memories and so looking forward to running in London with BGDR UK Sista’s 💕
I would appreciate your donation towards my chosen charity.
