Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my just giving page!
As most of my family and friends know in 2018 I was told I had breast cancer after having a routine mammogram. This came as a massive shock to me and my family and it couldn’t of come at a worse time as I was just ready to celebrate my youngest daughters wedding in Cyprus. The cancer specialist was so supportive and allowed me to go and enjoy our special holiday. Once we got back I was ready with the help of my nearest and dearest to give Cancer the biggest boot 🥾. I underwent my operation on 17th september 2018 which followed by weekly radiotherapy treatments for the next few months. On 5th December 2018 I rang the bell after I had finished my treatment 🛎. I haven’t had it easy since finishing my treatment as I have been left with long standing health issues but I’m just glad that I have managed to fight back against Breast cancer and so far I am nearly 3 years cancer Free 💗. So since i haven’t been able to show my gratitude and deepest thanks to the team behind the research of Fighting Breast cancer I have decided to BRAVE THE SHAVE. I will be shaving my hair off for the Charity that as given me the chance to stay with my family and continue to be a Cancer survivor! I will be doing this on Saturday 23rd of October and it will be live on Facebook. If you could please be so kind to help me with this by donating any contribution I will be so grateful. Thank you all for reading my story and I hope we can together continue to fight against cancer. 💗
