Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As ever I'm leaving my plea for a few quid to the last minute so I'm not bombarding you all for months. I haven't trained like a demon and my time won't be amazing but as long as I breathe I will do the Great North Run in memory of one person.
I spent a little while at St Benedict's Hospice today and trust me this place has an elevator straight from heaven because it continues to be run by angel staff and volunteers who have hearts as big as dust bin lids.
Please let me get to raising £100 for them by Sundays GNR….. & if you've only got a quid then I'll happily take it from you.
'My' Christine never wanted to be in St Benedicts, she just wanted to live every day of her life to the full and have more of life than she had. At 53 she died only living a tiny part of the dreams she had for her life but she had lived more than most of us………….
I 'wuv' and miss the most fantastic step mam and friend anyone could wish to have more and more as each day passes but I know that the last days of her life were respectful, peaceful, dignified and loving because of the staff in St Ben's so gizza quid and let's make sure the next family who have to endure what we did can have the 'best of an awful situation' that we did.
Cheers and much love Debbie xxxxx
