Story

I'm taking part in kemp hospice butterfly 🦋  walk in memory of 3 special people in my life , my beautiful kind caring dad , my youngest brother who I was very close too and Rachael who I was support worker/ carer to for 18 years so we were like sisters . Dad passed way February 2019 and rachael March 2020  and my brother June 2020 , although none of them were patients at kemp hospice , having  experienced  bereavement 3 times in a short space if time,  helps me to appreciate services kemp hospice provide like the counselling and kemp for kids which provides much needed support to help people through  their loss of a loved one in a private and confidential way  ,   keeping my memories of each of them alive is so important to me and taking part in positive events such as this on their memory helps me but also helps many others,  Butterflies represent change , hope and life , loosing a much loved one is a change we never choose , hope helps us to carry on and adapt and live life like our loved one would want keeping them in our hearts 💕 🦋🦋🦋
