Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My 40th birthday challenge!!
I, and my colleagues are taking on the Yorkshire 3 peaks in July, walking the 26 miles to raise money for 2 very good causes. We decided to walk for 1 local and 1 national charity.
Horton Lodge Special School, based in Horton, Nr Leek is a school that offers education for young children aged 2-11 with physical disabilities. Many children also have additional learning difficulties.
I think we all have been/or know someone who has been affected by Leukaemia/Lymphoma so this is our chosen National charity. Over the last few years, two very dear friends of mine have lost their lives to this terrible disease.
I am currently in training, walking, swimming and generally trying to up my fitness levels. The dogs are loving it - just a shame they can't join me on the actuall day!!
Any donations will be really really appreciated, however small, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
