On Sunday 16th May 2010 The Bird Girls, coached by Matthew Bird, will be running in the Colchester Race for Life...a £5k sprint around the Lower Castle Park in Colchester. 

Those of you who know us will be in no doubt that Sarah will be running all the way ... with me trotting along behind like an enthusiastic beginner. 

As we have entered together we will run together and not one to let Sarah down I've done a bit of training (thanks to Matthew and his excellent coaching techniques).

There are so many requests for sponsorship flying around these days...but if you can find a few pennies to support Cancer Research UK and the thousands of women who have survived Breast Cancer and in memory of those who are no longer with us - then we'll have done a good job.
