In memory of Edith Drewett
Summit the highest mountain in Wales and take in the beautiful surroundings as you trek to beat dementia.

Story

I am undertaking this challenge in memory of my lovely mum and at the same time raising much needed funds for research into the wicked and cruel disease that is dementia. Dementia causes confusion, distress and ultimately robs those affected of their dignity. It is my small contribution towards a world without dementia so no one has to suffer like my beautiful, intelligent and multi talented mum. You don’t just lose your loved one once, but twice.

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
