Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Thursday 8th March 2012 myself along with pupils from my Dance School - The Anderson School of Dance will be participating in a 3 HOUR NON-STOP SPONSORED DANCEATHON.
It will be hard work as its not just 'step, tap, step, tap', some of our routines are very physical but i think with a mixture of tiny tots routines through to the older class routines & a few Latino numbers, we may be very tired afterwards but it will be so worth it for a fantastic charity like this.
My Dad sadly passed away from Parkinsons Disease a few years ago so I thought it would be nice to try & raise some money for a charity that is close to home & one that desperately needs our help to find cures & alternative medicines.
If any of you know someone who has had Parkinsons I think you will agree with me (especially in the later stages) that it really is such a horrible thing to go through, to see someone u love so much deteriorate so rapidly is just really cruel.
I know other friends who have the disease & have just been diagnosed & they are still very young (in their 30's & 40's) so hopefully with our hard work & determination we will be able to give them more support & help with the research for new cures.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thank u so much for taking the time out & reading this. I really do want to make a different with the help of all my pupils from The Anderson School of Dance, so please if u can donate anything i would really appreciate it. (Every penny really does count)
Many thanks,
Lots of Love
