Will you camp in cold or comfort... that's up to you! Roughin' it for a Reason presented by Cabela's is a campout fundraiser that you can do safely from your own backyard or balcony to help build a new Nature Centre at Scanlon Creek.

Story

I'm 'Roughin' it for a Reason' because nature is important to me! I am a big advocate of Scanlon Creek because I see all the amazing programs the outdoor education team delivers through this site.

My kids went to Scanlon Creek with their classes and I know how important it is to connect kids with nature. So many young people are stuck inside watching video screens. This pandemic we are all living through, highlights the need for getting outdoors and Scanlon Creek has so much to offer.  The new Nature Centre will provide a space for the whole community to learn and experience nature first hand.

I'll be camping in my backyard in effort to bring awareness to this great and unusual project.  Help me reach my goal! Thank you in advance for your donation! I appreciate your support for the new Nature Centre and for what's important to me!
