Dean Jacobs is raising money for British Heart Foundation
Story
In September 2019, on the 3rd anniversary of my Heart Bypass Operation, I made a decision to cycle from Land's End to John O'Groats in August 2020, due to Covid it’s now been pushed to Aug 2021 (my 50th year!!)
It's a huge step up from London to Paris here's the comparison:
Lands End -John O'Groats (LEJOG): 1600km, 15,000m of climbing over 13 days
London to Paris was: 500km, 5,000m of climbing over 4 days
So basically it's 3 times longer, higher and harder! at this point I'm not sure if I'm capable of it...
I aim to raise £3,000, this time for the British Heart Foundation to say thanks in small part for saving my life.
But for now if you have a business and wish to have a logo on my jersey (or even you just want your name printed in support of my challenge) in return for a donation to the cause please get in touch... there's lots of space for sponsorship/names on the front back and on the shoulders and sleeves... (I will design and pay for production of the jerseys myself)...
