As many of you will already know, our beloved Mom passed away on 6th June surrounded by family after a long and brave battle with Cancer. She faced her illness as she did everything in life: with strength, fearlessness and a passion to protect those around her. We will not try to sum her life up here, but those who she touched throughout her life know what a blessing it was to have known her. Instead of flowers for her funeral, we would ask that family members and friends should donate, if they wish too, to Birmingham Community Healthcare who provided loving care to Deana in her final weeks on this earth. They went above and beyond to show kind, calm and compassionate care to her at such a difficult time and we cannot thank them enough. We are truly lucky to have NHS nurses who show us what it means to be passionate about their job.
