I have been a volunteer at Age UK STW the last couple of years and have been lucky enough to meet some wonderful people and make a difference.

To support the charity in their 70th year, I have decided to take on the challenge of riding from Lands End to John O' Groats. I will be riding with Emma Wilde from Age UK. She is a fantastic cyclist, a wonderful woman and will be the perfect partner for a challenge such as this.

In these difficult times there are many people doing extraordinary things just to keep the charity afloat and raising some money to help them along is the least I can do.

The ride will begin @ Lands End on 23rd June, arriving at John O' Groats (all being well!!) on 4th July.

We are planning on rolling into Shrewsbury on Sunday 27th June. We would appreciate any support. Cyclists of all age and abilities will be welcome to join us on a leg of the tour whenever they are available, whether it be a mile up the road or a full, gruelling day! Details to follow!

We have all had at least one person of the older generation who has helped to shape who we are today so a contribution to this cause will go to help the great work that the staff and volunteers do at Age UK ST&W who in turn, assist those who need it so admirably.

No amount is too small.
