Kelly's Heroes - The Loneliest Road US · 24 September 2022 to 10 October 2022 ·

Cycling across Europe and the US to raise funds to support people who are struggling, but ultimately raise awareness of Mental Health.

Story

On the 24th September our team of 12 will cycle from Newark in the US, cycling 3,343 miles and climbing 145,427ft in total over a 17 day period ! We will finish on the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco on the 10th October on World Mental Health Day.

The overall goal of Kelly’s Heroes is to reach a total of 52,000 miles which is the distance it would take to go around the world twice - synonymous to the Mental Wellbeing ideology "ask twice". We want to break the stigma and raise as much awareness for Mental Health as possible, because its "OK not to be OK".

Unless you are affected or know someone struggling with Mental Health it’s difficult to understand. There is often still a stigma associated with it, leaving many to suffer in silence, our aim is to raise awareness and help to prevent suicide.
