Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I first took on the London Bikeathon challenge 3 years ago. I did it because I lost my best friend way back in 2000 to a Blood cancer. Just before I entered I found out my Mother had been diagnosed with another cancer....Pancreatic Cancer. My mother Lost her battle with Cancer on the 21st July 2010....a couple of months after I completed the 52 mile ride. 2011 saw the start of Team "Are we there yet" me and 3 good friends took on the 26 mile city route along with 1000's of others. I rode in memory of my Friend and my Mother. This year 3 of us form Team "are we there yet" again and are taking on the 52 mile course. I ride for Paul Cooper RIP 2000 and my Mother RIP 2010. I ride for everybody who has lost a loved one to cancer no matter what type. Help me to help those who are suffering. Help me to help those striving for a cure.
