Story

Welcome to my fundraising page and thank you for taking the time to have a look.
On the Sunday 26th April 2015 I will be completing the Virgin London Matathon 2015. I have started my training for this prestigious event and as the date gets closer the hard work begins!
Firstly, and the most important part, let me tell you about the charity I'm running for:

Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a progressive disease that attacks the motor neurones, or nerves, in the brain and spinal cord. This means messages gradually stop reaching muscles, which leads to weakness and wasting.

MND can affect how you walk, talk, eat, drink and breathe. However, not all symptoms necessarily happen to everyone and it is unlikely they will all develop at the same time, or in any specific order.

Now then,  this is where I ask for your help..... Can you please donate as much as you can to help these incredible people, their families and their carers. I have set my target amount and I know all you lovely people reading this will help me reach it.

Finally I will leave you with a quote from Stephen Hawkings, who was diagnosed with MND at 21:

Remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see and wonder about what makes the universe exist. Be curious. And however difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at.
It matters that you don't just give up.
