Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  My son Ethan Lloyd has been treated by them on numerous occasions since his birth in October 2007.  Ethan was bluelighted to the Freeman when he was born and has already had 3 life saving operations, the most recent of which on the 01st April 2010 from which he is still recovering.   He has been in their intensive care unit 5 times, they have saved him from septacemia twice (on top of his operations!).

He will require more operations and will be a frequent visitor to the hospital.  Ethan is a blessing and brings light into everybody's life - he is even polite to the doctors and nurses that prod and poke him!

To say thank you my friend Sean Hunter and I have decided to do the Great North Run to give back to the wonderful team at the Childrens Heart Unit @ The Freeman Hospital.  They are a fantastic team saving lives and supporting children from all over the country.  The Freeman hospital carries out the same life saving work as Great Ormand Street Hospital with hardly any recognition.  They genuinely care about the children that they care for as if they were their own - and you could not ask for more from any care professional!

Your donation will help them continue the life saving, ground breaking work they carry out.  And for that we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.  Please, they work with nothing, treat thousands of children and all money they receive goes directly into equipment that keeps our kids alive.  Any amount, no matter how small really will make a difference. I know what a difference CHUF money made to us.
