On the 18th of July, I'm taking part in a charity archery event to raise money for cancer research in memory of my friend and former county chairman Chris Mason who sadly passed away last October.

The shoot is endurance based, starting at 6am and finishing around 9pm. The idea is to shoot scoring rounds throughout the day and raise money however we can! Shooting for this amount of time is something i've never done. Having shot for nearly 15 years competing in countless all day tournaments, I don't think I have ever shot more than 250 arrows in one day. To complete the challenge could mean shooting around 500-600... maybe more! A task made slightly more difficult as up until just a few days ago, I hadn't picked up my Bow since my daughter was born in January.

I'm looking for people to sponsor me however they wish to. It can be for a fixed amount for the day (done through my JustGiving page), or set me a specific challenge like donating an amount per round completed (possibly 4 or 5), per arrows shot (again hopefully around 500-600, maybe more!!), per golds shot.
