Story
On Christmas Eve 2020 my grandson Dom, also know as Foxy, took his own life. He was just 16 years old.
Dom’s death had a devastating effect on his family, friends and wider community. He was a gregarious character, into his bikes and football and played for the local U16 Cookley team. Dom was one of the nice guys and this has been reflected in the support that has been shown both on a personal level and through events held since Dom’s death to raise awareness and funds for charity.
To further support this myself, Marcus and Steve, Dom’s football coaches and Emma, John & Manda, whose children grew up with Dom, as Jacqui, Dom’s Nan, was their childminder are going to run the Great North Run on the 12th September. We have taken on this challenge in memory of Dom to raise much needed funds and to ensure all young people and adults can get the support they need to prevent suicide and prevent other families and friends having to experience loss through suicide.
Any donations will be gratefully received and give us the incentive to complete the 13.1 miles.
In memory of Foxy 💙💚💙💚
Thank you!
