Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. I will be doing a tandem skydive from 10000 feet on 30th May 2009 to celebrate my 30th birthday and raise money for Leonard Cheshire. Don't buy me a present, give to a good cause instead!
Leonard Cheshire Charity is close to my heart as I did voluntary work in the Cheshire Home, Bangalore, India for several months when I was 18. I saw first hand how invaluable the services they provide are.
Leonard Cheshire has disability services both in the UK and abroad. Some examples of how fundraising can help are £20 can buy 5 walking aids for children in Ethiopia and in the UK £500 can adapt a computer for a disabled person on the Workability programme to help them into employment.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Leonard Cheshire Disability gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
