Phew, thank goodness that's over!  To paraphrase Sir Steve, if you ever hear me talk about entering a marathon again, you have my permission to slap me!

In what felt like the hardest 4 1/2 hours of my life, I limped around the hot and sweaty streets of Paris desperately trying to get to the finish line.  However, it all seems worth it now that the aches have faded, having surpassed my sponsorship target of £1000.

If you have already pledged your hard-earned cash towards this amount, I want to say a massive thanks.  Rest assured your money will be well spent by this worthy cause.
