Story
10th June 2023 I will be doing a skydive for brain tumour research in memory of my much loved late husband and father of my two kids Ian Bennett.
Ian was diagnosed with a stage four Gliobastoma in October 2015 after he had began to experience problems with his left eye and remembering words. Three weeks after the diagnosis he underwent an operation to remove the tumour which was unfortunately unsuccessful, this was then followed by rounds of intensive radio therapy. Ian passed away in June 2016, nine months after his diagnosis at age 46.
Brain tumour research currently gets only 1% of cancer research funding, so giving to charities like this is vital.
Many of you will know someone, just like Ian, who has been affected by a brain tumour and will know the devastating affects it has on them and their families.
Please donate whatever you can and share this post. Hopefully this money will help to find a cure 🙏🏻
