Story

Dawn and Wendy's story:

Dawn Dyke and Wendy Davies are taking on the "Walk In Our Shoes" challenge; with the aim of walking a combined total of 620,000 steps this May.

Dawn and Wendy are fundraising in aid of Severn Hospice following the supportive and compassionate care they gave Dawn's Dad, Marsh and Wendy's sister, Ann.

They're grateful for any donation you can offer to this cause, which offers its specialist services free of charge to more than 3000 families every year.

Please say hello to them if you see them getting their steps in across Oswestry throughout the month!

About Severn Hospice:

Severn Hospice is with families from the moment they're referred to its care for as long as they need it, and it does this every day, all day for anyone in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales who needs that help.

It does this for them for free, but it is not without cost and it can't happen without you.

For every £1 you donate, they will spend 83p directly on care - and use the remaining 17p to make another £1.Last year, all those individual donations helped provide more than £9m of caring services.Thank you - you're amazing!
