In October 2022, I had a brilliant day, recording Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas. I took part in the paper craft competition and made a Christmas shop window-themed lightbox.
In December, my daughter and I went up into London for our annual trip to see all the amazing Christmas windows, many made by awesome fellow paper artists. It was during an especially cold snap, and it was already below freezing. As we were walking back to the train station, we walked past a young person, surrounded by people who had tried to help, but been unable to save him from freezing on the streets. This person was someone’s child; how does a life end up like this, especially in this day and age?
So, I’d like to use the Christmas lightbox to raise funds for CentrePoint, who help young homeless people in London. The idea is that for every £2 you donate through the justgiving page, you get one entry into the draw to win the lightbox. The draw will be made on the 31st January. Let’s raise some money and help support this awesome charity - please please donate anything you can afford - every penny will count. Thank you so much xxx
** Please remember to leave your name and donation amount, so I know how many entries to put you in the raffle for **
(postage to be paid by the winner - approx £7 for UK postage)
This lightbox competition is me, raffling a piece of art that I have made and has no affiliation with Channel 4/ RTRP/ Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas or any other connected company to the show.
